Weather: Cold snap, strong winds forecast for Orlando

The forecast calls for rain, possible storms and a big cool down.

Brrr.
Starting about midnight, the temperature is going to drop, the National Weather Service in Melbourne said.
The mercury will be in the low 40s when people wake up Friday morning.
It will be windy, too. With gusts up to 25 mph, it will feel as if it's in the mid-30s, said Will Ulrich, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
The high will climb no higher than the mid-50s Friday.

Friday night also will be chilly, with lows in the mid-40s.
But by the weekend, temperatures will be back up in the 70s, Ulrich said.
The warm weather will be short-lived, he said. A strong cold front is headed our way again Monday.
